In celebration of Valentine’s Day, the Builders Association Charity hosted the second annual “Be Wine Valentine” Wine Tasting and Silent Auction Event on Friday night, February 5, 2010.  A very special thanks to Bob Dallas and the entire team at Creative Touch Interiors, who sponsored and provided the venue for this year’s event. 
   Several vendors were on hand to assist couples with their Valentines Day gift giving needs while they listened to live music by John Shipley and enjoyed appetizers, beer and wine supplied by Silver Peak Brewery and Whispering Vine.  Couples perused the 120 Silent Auction items and 7 live auction items, including a Golden Retriever puppy who was taken home by none other than Charter Communication’s Doug Kyler. 
   As a result of your generosity, more than $13,000 was raised at this event.  All funds raised stay here in Northern Nevada and will be used to assist Northern Nevada families struggling with the many faces of adversity.
