BAC Golfers "Link to Charity

   Saturday, May 16th is a date Chad Felix won’t soon forget.  His sanity was tested as he searched and searched for the elusive little white ball he would soon find had come to rest in the cup on hole # 14.  Chad is the Regional Business Development Manager for Western Title Company, a recently elected Trustee to the Board of the Builders Association Charity, and was, on that day, not only a gracious host but also the only person on the course to get a hole in one! 
   It was on that beautiful spring day, that Chad, along with 55 other players took to the course to raise money for charity.  The beautiful D’Andrea Golf Club played host to the inaugural “Western Title and Friends Charity Golf Tournament” benefitting the Builders Association Charity.  The event was hosted by none other than the generous staff at Western Title and its affiliates, who could not have planned a more perfect day.  The sun shined brightly and not a gust of wind interrupted play.  Golfers were treated to complimentary margaritas, generously donated by Wirtz Beverage, (formerly Silver State Liquor and Wine), throughout the event and enjoyed an appetizer buffet immediately following play.  It was the foursome from Washoe Building Supply who took the day with 15 under par!  Congratulations go to Zach McGrath, Scott McGrath, Todd Warner and Stan Wilmoth!!

   Thanks to the generosity of each of the sponsors and the participation of 56 golfers, the event raised nearly $3,500.00 for the Builders Association Charity.  Mark your calendars now for Saturday, May 15, 2010 at D’Andrea when we once again take to the course with a common goal.  Together we can make a difference!
