Reno Builders Debut New Products, New Community |
|
| Who said that the Reno market has nothing to offer new home builders? The grand opening celebration of Les Maisons at Montreux, a new home community built by Pearce Construction and the Toll Brothers announcement of two new models at its Dorado community in Damonte Ranch would belie that assumption! Setting the stage with a 2008 BANN-ER Award for Residential Pre-Construction, Les Maisons at Montreux hosted a grand opening—“Eat, Drink and Be Montreux”—on June 20th. Hundreds of potential home buyers toured the Montreux facilities and the new home community, which features 10 exquisite French-inspired country homes at the end of Bordeaux Drive. Nestled in the pines beyond the 7th green, Les Maisons features floorplans ranging from 3,200 square feet to 3,600 square feet. Award-winning builder Dave Pearce seems to have accurately determined the desires of today’s upscale home buyers and has incorporated the luxury interiors found in larger, more expensive homes. Given their location within the PGA course, home of the Reno-Tahoe Open, it’s not surprising to find separate golf cart bays within the garages. Judging by the enthusiasm of those in attendance, it is apparent that the homes’ design and their prestigious location bodes well for future sales. |

| Toll Brothers Dorado Community | |
| Also a multiple BANN-ER Award winner over the years, Toll Brothers has announced the grand opening of two new model homes at its Dorado community in Damonte Ranch. The Savona and Terracina floor plans—competitively priced from $339,995—have struck a chord with today’s new home buyers. The first in Toll Brothers Select Series of homes, the plans offer luxury amenities such as first-level master suites, soaring foyers, expansive great rooms, formal dining spaces, and well-appointed kitchens and baths. The consideration of Reno’s beautiful views and mountain vistas has resulted in a number of the homes enjoying unparalleled views from the walk-out balconies. While acknowledging that the boom years are a thing of the past, Pearce Construction and Toll Brothers are exhibiting confidence in our area’s future and are refusing to give in to a “doom and gloom” mentality. “There are home buyers out there just itching to own one of these beautiful properties,” stated Builders Association of Northern Nevada Executive Director Mike Dillon. “It’s incumbent upon all of us—builders and lenders alike—to be sure that they can get into them.” |
